Thanks for looking at in advance. I have had recent issues displaying images in Invoices. I have a PNG file located in the /images directory. I use the WYSIWYG editor and add the image via URL. I’ve tried both full url https://site.com/images/image.png and just /images/image.png. I’ve tested a PNG and JPG photo. Each result with error:
mPDF error: IMAGE Error (image URL here): Error parsing image file – image type not recognised, and not supported by GD imagecreate
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best to upload the image to another hosting account (e.g. imgur.com or even facebook) then insert the URL to that image into the PDF template. Sometimes if the image is on the same hosting account as the PDF generator it gets blocked.
Where would I perform the step mentioned above.

After moving to a new subfolder I am unable to complete backups and unable to print invoices. The Backup fails in the file back up portion and the I get the following error when printing or emailing an invoice.
“mPDF error: IMAGE Error (http://zinkly.com/manager/images/zink-logo.png): Could not find image file”.
FYI… I still notice the image url is the same even after changing the theme Logo URL to “http://imgur.com/7LtlMIx”.
Your URL: http://imgur.com/7LtlMIx is a Image Link and you need the Direct Link. All you have to do is login to Imgur > click your photo > on right copy the “Direct Link” URL. I then pasted that link for my logo under Theme Settings and I also used that link in my email templates and it fixed my mPDF Error.
