Generally the authentication failed messages mean gmail has blocked UCM because of some failure.

Please try disabling the cron job all together (this is important). Then change the gmail password to something new. Then wait another 15 minutes (or better even an hour if you can). Then put the new password into UCM and press ‘test’ in the ticket page again. If you don’t get authentication failed then enable the cron job again.

This has worked for other people.
